Since last year, Mansfield residents have been getting in touch to share their experiences of Royal Mail’s poor service.

I’ve raised these concerns directly with Royal Mail, including writing to their Chief Executive. In response, I was invited to visit their Mansfield sorting office, where I was told by staff that residents would see service return to normal by mid-March.

We’re now in May, and I’m still hearing from constituents that deliveries are being delayed – in some cases by up to two weeks. Some people have told me the situation is getting worse, not better.

That’s simply not good enough.

To make the strongest possible case for action, I need to hear from as many Mansfield residents as possible.
